Nach Baliye 9|Faisal Khan: Muskaan is a non-dancer & it will be hard to balance with her

Star Plus’ popular dance reality show Nach Baliye is finally back with the ninth season. The show produced by superstar Salman Khan has roped in twelve couples from the industry who at present are competing with each other. The makers have introduced a brand new concept by bringing together ex-flames and other couples in the show, making it more interesting and engaging.

Actor and dancer Faisal Khan who participated in the show with his girlfriend Muskaan Kataria got candid about the show and his experiences.

What made you participate in Nach Baliye?

Only Nach Baliye was left for me and I really wanted to do it, the reason behind is that it will make our bond stronger because it's been only 1.5 years since we met. 

How does it feel to work together for the first time?

I am feeling happy and excited that we are working together. It's sort of debut for Muskaan. So, I am happier as people will get to know her and she is doing good on stage too. However, we have worked together for events but Nach Baliye is our on-screen debut.

You are already a dancer, do you think it will make the competition a bit easier for you?

I don't think it is going to be anyway easier for me but I take every competition in my life seriously, whether I do it as a dancer or not. I will put my best foot forward in every competition and moreover, Muskaan is a non-dancer and it will be hard to balance with her.

Who do you think will give a tough competition and why?

You must have heard many people saying it but Muskaan and I genuinely don't consider anyone as our competitor. Even for the past shows, I have never considered anyone as my competitors because everyone has come here to give their 100 percent. We have to challenge and compete with ourselves and that will definitely help us in future. I think we are, our own competitor. We are going to compete with our own past performances, that will help us to stand till the end of the show.

This time the makers have introduced a new concept by bringing in ex-couples, what is your take on this?

It's a great concept and the format of the show is such that hopefully, some ex-couples will end up being together and if not, then at least they should end up being friends. I feel that the idea is best, it's new and innovative.

You are the youngest couple participating in the show, does this make you feel any pressure?

There is no pressure as such, we both are experiencing something new in life and in a such a young age. We are enjoying, having fun and trying to give our level best. The show is going to be full of experience for us.

Being the youngest couple, don’t you think it's too early to be part of a show like Nach Baliye?

I don't feel there is any age bar to do anything in life. If you can participate in a show then you should do it. If you can have a girlfriend at this age then why is it wrong to tell the whole world about it and all the shows that I have done till now, I have been the youngest whether it was Jhalak or Khatron ke khiladi.
