Naamkarann actress Sayantani Ghosh APPROACHED for Sanjivani remake

Yesteryear’s immensely popular hospital drama Sanjivani starring Gurdeep Kohli, Mohnish Bahl, Rupali Ganguly and Mihir Mishra ran on television for around three long years. The show was extremely popular and seeing the success of the show the makers of the show even launched a sequel titled Dill Mill Gayye which was equally a success.

Now, with the new trend of remaking old classic shows, the makers are planning to work the charm of Sanjivani yet again on TV. Mohnish Bahl and Namit Khanna have already been roped in for the show and rumors of Ishqbaaz actress Surbhi Chandna playing the lead are also rife, though there is no comment from the actress herself.

Now, the latest that we hear is that the talented actress Sayantani Ghosh has also been approached for the show. Sayantani who has had a vast career in TV with shows like Naamkarann, Kumkum, Mahabharat and Santoshi Maa to name a few in her kitty has been approached by the makers for a pivotal role. However when we contacted the actress, she remained unavailable for any comments.

If sources are to be believed, the show will be produced by Siddharth Malhotra’s new banner Alchemy, who was earlier a part of Cinevistaas.
