'Naagin 6' actress Mahekk Chahal loses Rs 49,000 to an online fraud

Mahekk Chahal, who is currently seen in Naagin 6 faced an online fraud. According to the report in a leading portal Mahekk Chahal became a victim of online payment fraud on July 12 and lost ` 49,000. She immediately lodge a complaint and her FIR has been registered under cyberwing.

Talking about the incident, Mahekk Chahal told that while checking the internet regarding a courier service to send a parcel in Gurugram, she got the number the person who told that he would assist her and asked her to visit a website and complete the registration by transferring ` 10 on the website. He asked about the mode of payment, and told  that he was using Google Pay. However, when she tried to make the payment via Google Pay, it didn’t go through. After that he shared a link for payment and within 20 second, her money got deducted.

Mahekk has to cancel her Naagin shoot and deal with this incident entire day.
