Naagin 5 actor Sharad Malhotra tests negative for COVID-19

Sharad Malhotra, who is a part of Naagin 5, had tested positive for the novel Coronavirus a couple of days ago and went into isolation ever since. While he has been away from the sets, there are other crew members too, that have tested positive for the virus. However, Sharad announced the happy news of having tested negative for the virus via social media.

Sharing a post on social media where he thanked everyone for being a part of his journey during the last couple of days, he went on to write, '"NEGATIVE" never sounded so sweet.' He also went on to add, 'Thankyou #Covid19 for without this isolation i wouldn't have discovered a whole new me & an ocean of people who love me to bits.'

Meanwhile, replacing Sharad as the cheel alongside Surbhi Chandna is none other than Dheeraj Dhoopar, and fans have been liking the chemistry so far. As Sharad shared the post, co-star Mohit Sehgal was amongst the first few people who expressed his happiness and commented on how he cannot wait to have him back on the sets.
