'Naagin 2' will NOT be replacing 'Kavach'..!

The supernatural thriller show, 'Kavach... Kaali Shaktiyon Se' has been a news grabber since the day of its inception. From the fact, that it was another huge Ekta Kapoor show to the fact that it scored great ratings on the TRP charts, 'Kavach..' has been creating a lot of buzz lately.

And one of the prime news that the show was the target of was that the forthcoming mega show, 'Naagin 2', the second season of 'Naagin', to be replacing 'Kavach..'

'Naagin' ended in June and was replaced by 'Kavach..' and soon it was assumed that 'Kavach..', being a finite series, will be replacing the second season of 'Naagin' once it is ready to go on floors.

However, it is now confirmed that 'Naagin 2' will NOT be replacing 'Kavach... Kaali Shaktiyon Se'.

Confused? Don't worry, this doesn't mean that 'Naagin 2' has been delayed. In fact 'Naagin 2' will be returning with its primetime slot of 8 pm to 9 pm.

So what happens to 'Kavach..'? Rest assures, the fans of Kavach, as the show will be shifted to the 7pm to 8pm slot as it has been extended for another 14 episodes.

We contacted Vivek Dahiya, who confirmed saying, "Yes, it's true. Firstly, I don't even know where did the news of 'Naagin 2' replacing 'Kavach..' came from. Though our show is a finite series, it wasn't meant to be replaced by 'Naagin 2'. So, I think this is a good way to tell everyone that we are certainly not going off-air anytime soon."

He added, "The show has been amongst the top leading shows of the Channel and I also read somewhere, how the show has topped the ratings in Pakistan too. It is so endearing and amazing to get so much love and support and we hope to keep delivering great stuff to our viewers."
