My Twitter is Not Hacked! - Preetika Rao

Saturday evening saw a lot of commotion amongst Preetika Rao Fans who suspected that the actor's Twitter account has been hacked post her Facebook- hacking debacle a few weeks ago!

The chaos broke-down soon after the Actress "un-followed 50 of her fans in one go"! In an attempt to calm down her Fandom the Actor clarifies, "I suddenly saw myself following random people like Justin Beiber (fake) , social media groups and  people whom I had never followed in the first place!... I saw myself following fan-clubs belonging to other actors too and got alarmed and immediately un-followed these handles and changed my password in an attempt to safeguard my account.  It was a logical move that any normal person in my place would take suspecting something fishy!"

The Actress then personally sent Direct Messages to a lot of her fans whom she had un-followed - giving them explanations for her move in-order to avoid hurting their sentiments- "But on the contrary they suspected that I was a hacker! Because I was going out of-my-way by replying sometimes to the same person thrice!", laments Preetika.


"I mostly follow Fan-Clubs and handles carrying the terms Beintehaa - Pree-Zaya- Preetika Rao in them and also follow some fans as an exception due to my own personal rapport with them for which I cannot be termed as biased', because it is my personal choice!

The Actress who has a hundred new people following her every week -on an average- expresses that it is practically impossible for her to follow everyone and clarifies to India-Forums that she manages her own account and does not leave it to a Manager.

Preetika leaves her fans with a special note-of-appeal stating, "I Un-followed some of you with a heavy heart- but please take into consideration the correct intention behind this move!  I have now kept my Direct Message option open to everyone, so that everyone can DM me and share a personal connect! I love you all equally and cherish you truly!".
