As Star Plus’s Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat aims to conquer
the hearts of its audience through a rather different tale of a young
girl’s dreams of living life like a princess, it also introduces yet
another fresh face in the television industry.

So what is common between
Kapil and Yudhistir, the prince? “Not much”, says Kapil, “I relate to
my character in only two things. One is that I am very quiet in real
life, just like my on-screen character and I am an introvert. I prefer
keeping to myself most of the time.”
Kapil
was earlier seen in Shakira, a show on Bindaas but the show was pulled
off air and he considers himself lucky to have got such a big break in
his career as he says,“ Yes, I was previously doing a show called
Shakira on Bindaas but it went off air and I am very fortunate to have
got such a big break and got the opportunity to work on a channel like
Star Plus.”But what compelled a post-graduate in marketing to make a career in acting? Kapil replies, “
I have done my post-graduation in marketing and I did work in the
corporate world for almost a year and a half. But I always had an
inclination towards acting. While in Jaipur, I even hosted a show for a
local channel. My friends and family kept pushing me to try a hand at
acting saying I had the talent. Hence I decided to pursue the dream.
And it seems to be going pretty well right now. I will just have to
wait and watch how the future shapes up.”
Speaking about his future plans, Kapil says, “Right
now, I have no other plans or new projects. I plan on concentrating on
one show at a time. I’ll just have to wait and see how things work out."
