Tell us something about your role in this show..
My role in this show is of a simple girl who wishes to find her 'dream husband' in reality and believes that her life is khoobsurat no matter what she does or what situation she goes through. I love to live in fairy tales, but will all my dreams come true? That you will find in the show. So don't miss to watch it [smiles].
How does it feel being the lead of a daily soap?
The feeling is amazing. This is my first show as a lead but I have done many shows as a child artist namely Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Karishma Ka Karishma, Sssh Koi Hai, Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli, Rishtey, Koi Apna Sa and many more. I have also featured in a movie called Ek Rishta.
What are you expecting out of this show?
I am looking for no competition. There are many shows who have received high TRP ratings, but I am here not to compete but just work hard and entertain the audience and make them relate to the show.
Do you think this show will leave a mark in people's life?
Yes, it will surely leave a mark. There are hardly shows which are made on reality and with our hard work and realistic background we can leave a mark.
Is 'Amita' the type of role you wished to play as a lead?
Yes, Amita very much relates to what I am in real life and I am very glad that I got such a role. I also wish to play a negative role. If I get an opportunity in the future, I will surely grab it. ( smiles)
How did acting happen to you?
My father's passion became my passion and that's how acting happened to me. I gradually started with commercials and then got serials as a child artist and now a show as a lead actress.
You are very young, so do you think that work will affect your studies?
No, my work will not affect my studies. I am currently pursuing BMM and acting is also a part of media, hence I get to learn with my work.
The Producer of the show Siddharth Kumar Tiwary added saying..
This is a social drama show and the characters in the show are the ones to which you can relate with in your real life. It shows that how a person should be beautiful not from his or her face but from within. Come what may, Zindagi Khoobsurat Hai.
We wish the show 'All the very best'.
