"My family prefers to treat me with chocolates on my birthday" : Kinshuk Mahajan

Good looking and popular actor Kinshuk Mahajan was seen in Zee TV's Afsar Bitiya, has turned a year older today. The actor had a party with his friends last night and is planning to go out for a dinner with his wife and sister in the evening.

TellyBuzz spoke to Kinshuk to know more about his birthday plans and about the celebration which happened at his place last night.

Talking about his birthday celebration and plans for the evening, Kinshuk told us, "Last night few of my close friends and my industry friends Mohit Sehgal and Angad Hasija came to my place to surprise me. I cut my birthday cake with them and then we all partied together and had dinner together. I was already expecting some of my friends to come at my place so we were doing preparations for everything since 9 o'clock. I slept at 4 o'clock in the morning and then woke up in the afternoon. I have plans to go out for a dinner in the evening with my wife and sister."

So, what gifts Kinshuk has got on his birthday? The birthday boy told us, "I don't believe in gifts. I always tell my family that not to waste so much of money of gifts. So, they prefer to treat me with chocolates. They know that I am very fond of chocolates and I can die for chocolates. So my wife and my sister have given me lots of chocolates."

Going down the memory lane, we asked the birthday boy as how he used to celebrate his birthday during his childhood days and how it has changed now. He told us, "My wife has carried forward the legacy which my Mother used to do earlier. She used to make some packets of cereals and money and then she used to tell us to offer that in the temple. So my wife does the same now which is being followed since my childhood days. I miss my parents and they called me up to wish me last night."  

Kinshuk is thankful to his wife who made his birthday special by doing several preparations for him despite being undergoing through an operation of wisdom tooth. He told us, "My wife has been so supportive that this time I was against celebrating my birthday because recently she had her wisdom tooth operation done which is very painful. Still she was cooking food and made this day special for me. I didn't want to celebrate but she denied saying that she didn't want my birthday to get waste and she arranged everything for my birthday celebration."  

Thanking his fans for the wishes on his birthday, Kinshuk concluded, "I would like to thank everyone for being there for me. I love you all and I do read all your messages and comments."
