My divorce wasn’t turbulent; don’t think it would cause a controversy: Gautam Vig of Bigg Boss 16

Bigg Boss 16 has started and so has the game. The first week was quite impressive followed by a subtle ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’. The host of the show Salman Khan kept it simple for the first Weekend Ka vaar and didn’t pull up many contestants for their behavior in the house. However, he did point at Gautam and asked him to be himself and not try to copy other popular contestants from the previous seasons.

Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Gautam had a brief interaction with India Forums in which he spoke about being a part of the show. Currently, Gautam is seen having soft feelings for Soundarya Sharma. In an incident wherein Sharma in a fun banter gave a peck of kiss to Shalin Bhanot, Gautam felt a tinge of insecurity.

India Forums had asked Gautam if he was up for a love angle in the show, he said, “Why not? I mean, I can’t suppress love, if I feel for someone and if I get someone special in the house, I will go with the flow”.

For the uninitiated, Gautam Vig recently got divorced from his wife Richa Gera (actor Ankit Gera’s sister). In a show like Bigg Boss, a celebrities’ personal life comes out in the open. We asked Vig if he is up to handle such controversies related to his personal life. He said, “Honestly, my divorce with Richa was quite mutual. It wasn’t turbulent. We’re in touch and are quite cordial. I don’t think any such controversy can creep up based on my divorce.”
