How is the feeling of winning Jhalak?
Its a great feeling because so far Jhalak has never been won by any youngest contestant and I became the first one to win so I am feeling very proud and happy.
You have become the youngest contestant to win Jhalak. How does it feel?
I was offered Jhalak last time as well but being occupied with Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap, I couldn't do it then. I had this thing in my mind that whenever I will take up Jhalak, I will give my best into it. Even if I would have taken up Jhalak then, I had to manage doing both the shows simultaneously. So I waited for it and now when I took up Jhalak, I doubted whether I will be able to win or not but I thought that if its a competition then, I must go ahead with it with a target to win. So I moved ahead in the competition with this target and I think because of that, I have won.
Overall How has been your journey with Jhalak?
Its been superb! I got a chance to dance again with the show because I had danced in DID and then I was doing Maharana Pratap so I was on a break with dance. I got a chance to dance again with Jhalak. I get to do so many acts. I got a chance to work with such a creative choreographer - Vivek sir, I got a chance to work with Vaishnavi, got a chance to dance in front of Shahid sir and get good comments from him. So I had a very good experience being a part of the show.
How tough was the competition; Did you think that you will win the show?
The competition was very tough; there were non dancers as well as dancers. I was focused about dancing the way like I did in DID. I always used to try performing better than my previous acts. So instead of competing with others, I competed with myself and came this far.
Tell us your best performance so far according to you?
Laavni and the Hero act have been my best performances on the show.
How has been the reaction of everyone on your win?
When I told this to Geeta Maa (Geeta Kapur), Aashka (Aashka Goradia) Mam and everyone they all were very happy because this was something unexpected because I have already been a winner of DID and so far something like this has never happened in Jhalak that a dance reality show winner has won. My Mom Dad are very happy because I have won such a big title.
What has been your motivation and strength throughout the journey?
I feel that I have reached till here because of my efforts and hard work. I believe that koshish karne walon ki kabhi haar nahi hoti. I kept going just keeping this thing in mind. Even my confidence has helped me a lot. If you will be positive and have confidence, then you can achieve whatever you want. I believe that if you will be positive and focused with what you want to achieve in life then you will definitely achieve it.
Has there been any moment when you felt like giving up?
I never got any such moment which made me feel that I should give up now but after coming on this show, I always had a fear in mind about falling sick and I even asked my family to pray for me so that I won't fall sick during my Jhalak's journey but I fall sick during one of the biggest performance on the show. I fall sick during our marathon performance where we had to dance for 5 minutes among distractions. I was feeling better during the technical though but still I thought of giving my best during the shoot even if I won't be feeling better. We should never ever give up; we should fight for it.
What you have learn from your Jhalak's journey?
I have learned dance again on this stage because I have been away from dance from quite a long time. I polished my dancing skills on the show. I have got some new friends here, I have learned the skills of better choreography from Vivek sir and I have learned many more things during my Jhalak's journey.
What are your future plans now? Any plans to return to a fiction show?
Work is everything for me so whatever will come to way whether it would be a fiction, movie or a reality show, I would like to do it.
What are your long term goals regarding dance?
I want to polish my dancing skills even more. I feel that India is lagging behind from other countries when it comes to dance. I want to dance and inspire people to dance so that even India would be ahead in this field.
Any message for your fans?
Though the news was leaked before the telecast but this shows that people love me. They have been giving good response. I am feeling very good and hope to get the same response and blessings from everyone in future as well.
