Munmun Dutta makes a return to 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' finally

Actor Munmun Dutta, who is best known for her role as Babita in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is finally making a comeback to the show after a long hiatus. That's right. As one would remember, she was one of the few members on the show who did not return when the rest of the cast did almost two months ago.

Back then, it was touted that her controversy regarding using casteist slur was one of the reasons for her not coming back. There were also rumors that the actor has quite the show as well. However, it was refuted then by the makers. Now, it is confirmed that Dutta is back on the show and she has even begun shooting already. In fact, her entry will be happening anytime in this week.

Reports from the set suggested that Dutta walked in to the set and the cast and crew was shocked to see her. This means that Dutta and producer Asit Modi seemed to have reached an agreement after the controversy broke away.

We are sure the fans of the show will be happy to see their beloved Babitaji on the show again.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the longest-running sitcom in Indian TV history as it completed 13 years of runtime only a month ago and and continues to run stronger than ever as it enters its 14th year.
