"MTV Unplugged is pure form of music" - Armaan Malik

MTV Unplugged season 7 is all set to hit the television screens from the 9th of December.

The musical show will see veteran singer Shankar Mahadevan, Papon, Monali Thakur, Vishal and Rekha Bhardwaj and debutants Armaan and Amaal Malik.

While Armaan is looking forward to the show, this is what he had to say when asked about the show and how it is different from commercial music.

"I feel MTV Unplugged is pure form of music. We have done music for Bollywood and movies, but here we have been able to express ourselves better, musically. It is unadulterated. We have got a lot of amazing instruments such as flute, banjo, saxophone, so it's amazing to see music come live with such instruments, and I am looking forward to the episodes."

The show will be aired on MTV India.
