Mrunal Thakur bashed a netizen accusing her of liking a sexist post on Deepika Padukone

Mrunal Thakur is not someone to take things lightly and so she recently locked horns with an internet user It all started when famous influencer Freddy Birdy posted a sarcastic comment, which stated, 

“Newton’s Law Of Bollywood – The clothes will get tinier as Gehraiyaan release date approaches”.

Moments later, Deepika Padukone shared an Instagram story indirectly taking a jibe on his comment. 

The post read, 

“Scientists say, the Universe is made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons. They forgot to mention morons”.

Freddy’s sarcastic post was also liked by Mrunal Thakur, after which Mrunal posted a clarification, concerning her stance on the issue. 

Taking to her social media handle, Mrunal wrote, 

“Bhai you are so mentally sick I wish I could get you some flowers and Slam it on your face and thank you for spreading hate! Just to let you know I admire Deepika. Having said that I feel you must get yourself a life, rather than sitting at home and spreading hate, spread love!”

The user later posted saying "Mrunal Thakur replied to me" to which the actress replied, 

“Had fun? Maaza aaya (Was it fun)? Now eat good food, go for a run and make friends who love you. I never encourage the troller but I honestly feel sorry for you. Take care sweetheart I pray this tweet changes you a bit and make you a better human." 

The user later deleted all his tweets.

Directed by Shakun Batra, ‘Gehraiyaan’ is a romantic entertainer starring Deepika, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa. Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor will also be seen in supporting roles.

On the work front, Mrunal Thakur’s Jersey was all set to release on December 31 in the theatres. Owing to the rising Covid-19 cases in the country, the same was postponed. Jersey also stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role.
