More than being nervous, I’m excited for ‘Udaariyaan’: Sonakshi Batra aka Naaz

Colors’ show ‘Udaariyaan’ is all set to take a major turn as the show will soon re-vamp. Actors Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary and Isha Malviya will exit the show paving way for new generation. Actors Twinkle Arora, Hitesh Bharadwaj and Sonakshi Batra have been locked to play the new leads in the show.

India Forums got in touch with Batra who’s set to play the character of Naaz in the show. We asked the actress if she’s nervous with the responsibility of being one of the new faces of an already popular show. Sonakshi quipped, “More than being nervous, I’m excited for this new journey. Naaz is quite a layered character and I’m sure I’ll get a lot to perform and entertain the audience. This is my second association with Colors post ‘Nima Denzongpa’ and I’m motivated to see how this one turns out to be”.

When asked about getting a brief from producers Ravi and Sargun, Sonakshi said, “I didn’t really get to have some elaborated conversations with them. I just met Ravi Sir and he briefed me about the story and my character which has really driven me to be on the sets and perform in the show”.

The show is produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s show Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Devirosh Films. Post leap tracks will begin from 19th September 2022.
