Monica Khanna playing the female LEAD in Shashi-Sumeet Production's next?

Shashi-Sumeet Productions is all set for his upcoming comedy drama series on Star Plus, a bi-weekly series.

Actors Kiran Kumar and Ketki Dave recently joined the starcast and will play a couple on screen, alongside Rahul Lohani who is finalized as the male lead.

Reports suggest that Monica Khanna who was last seen in Thapki... Pyaar Ki on Colors, will be playing the female lead, where she will portray the role of a modern girl who is married to Rahul's character and Ketki will be playing her on-screen mother-in-law.

When asked Monica about joining the star cast, she said, "I had auditioned for the role two months back and they haven't contacted me ever since. They called me to ask about my fees, but never reverted later. As of now I am not aware of anything."
