Monami never came to terms with Karan’s passing and she craved for him: Kaveri Priyam of Ziddi Dil Maane Na

Following a deluge of twists and turns in Sony SAB’s Ziddi Dil- Maane Na, the audience is finally relieved to know that their beloved Karan Shergill is alive. Back with a new purpose, Karan is aware of Param’s reality now and has realised that its his own brother who has betrayed him and the country by associating and leading the terrorist group. To find out the whole truth, Karan remains in the shadows and chooses to lurk in the background and enter the academy, only when the time is right. 

However, Monami starts to feel Karan’s presence around and is convinced of his return. Her feelings are not wrong as Karan too cannot seem to keep himself away from Monami but for her safety and the bigger purpose, he maintains a distance. But Monami keeps getting flashes of him on the road and around the academy that somehow strengthens her belief that Karan is alive. In the market, she tries to follow Karan but loses sight of him. When she is about to cross the road, a speeding car comes rushing towards her but Monami doesn't move. She believes that if Karan is actually around, then he will save her. Monami’s intuition turns right when Karan rushes towards her and sweeps her in his arms, finally revealing himself.  

Kaveri Priyam essaying the role of Monami said, “I think this was the moment Monami has been waiting for and so were the fans. Monami could never come to terms with Karan’s passing and she craved for his presence around. So, it was kind of natural for her to get the cues when she started seeing Karan’s flashes. But knowing Karan too well, she was sure that he would only come into the open if Monami’s life was in danger and hence she puts her intuitions to test. For Monami, it’s a very emotional moment to finally see Karan alive and in front of her. Though it took a long time for them to finally get back together, Monami’s prayers are finally answered. I hope the audience would enjoy this reunion and I would urge them to keep watching the show for the happenings ahead.”
