Television heartthrob Mohsin Khan, who rose to fame with his portrayal of Kartik Goenka in Star Plus’ long-running daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has found himself at the center of marriage rumours. On June 17, reports began circulating across entertainment portals claiming that the actor is all set to tie the knot in an arranged setup with a woman he had been “secretly dating” for over a year.

The buzz reportedly began after a segment on Saas Bahu Aur Saazish, a popular TV show on ABP News, stated that Mohsin’s family had found a match for him and the wedding was expected to happen later this year. Some reports went a step further to say that the girl is not from the entertainment industry and that the two had been introduced through family friends.

However, Mohsin Khan has now broken his silence and categorically denied the reports. Taking to his Instagram stories, the actor wrote in a straightforward tone, “Fake news bro. Urging all the media outlets to at least confirm before reposting fake news.”

This is not the first time the actor’s personal life has come under public speculation. Ever since he exited Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2021 after a successful five-year run, rumours around his dating life and marriage have often popped up. However, the actor has always maintained a dignified silence on the same.

Currently, Mohsin is focused on his upcoming projects, including OTT ventures and ad campaigns. Fans have been eagerly waiting for his return to fiction content, but the actor has so far chosen to keep his professional updates low-key.
