Actor Mohit Malik is currently chilling on the sandy beaches of Goa. The actor flew down to the beach paradise of the country for some much needed downtime with wife Addite and their adorable munchkin Ekbir. And Mohit plans to completely cut off from the outside world and focus on his personal universe- his family. Before flying off to Goa, Mohit spoke to us about how he has been grateful for constant work during a time when the world was shutting down but he was also in need of a much needed break.
“I’ve always maintained that I wanted to do a variety of work where the process of learning never stops. And I’ve been working round the clock for the past few years. While I am very glad and wish to keep working till my body allows me to, I do feel the need to take a few breaks in the midst of it to. Not just to recharge myself, but also to spend some time with my wife and son,” Mohit explained.
Mohit was shooting for his digital debut Cybervaar for a couple of month before he signed and flew off to Cape Town for another month and a half for Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. He adds, "That's the longest that I've stayed out of Mumbai and away from Addite and Ekbir. And I had my moments where I missed them A LOT. I was even heartbroken when I found out that I had missed the moment when Ekbir took his first steps. I was the happiest when they both showed up at the airport to receive me and when my son walked into my arms."
Ask him what his plans are for the next couple of days and Mohit states, "I am going to do absolutely nothing. Even though I was gone for a couple of weeks, it felt like I missed so much of Ekbir growing up. So I am just going to lounge around with my wife and son, soak him in and everything that he does, dote on my family and absolutely relax."
Mohit reportedly has quite a few projects lined up once he returns to Mumbai and the actor is all ready to jump into work mode. He adds, "I won't talk about it but there are some interesting projects in the pipeline. I'll announce them when its the right time. But for now, I want to give all my free and available time to my family," he signs off.
