Sony SAB’s Sab Satrangi revolves around, Mankameshwar urf Manu, played by actor Mohit Kumar. Manu is one of the most kind-hearted hardworking, resilient man you’ll ever meet, who believes that good things happen to good people and that if you don't harm or have bad intentions towards anyone, bad things won't happen to you. Manu is his Daadi’s laadla, the head of the Maurya family.
Played by Joyoshree Arora, she is not your typical Daadi, she a bold and bindass individual, an award-winning life insurance agent, who is determined to not let her age affect her ambition, she will definitely take the audience for a fun ride with her quirks!
India Forums got talking to Mohit aka Manu in a quick conversation and here's what he told us about.
You are returning to the TV screens of sorts with this show. How does it feel like and is it overwhelming?
Kind of same for me, I took a break of 3-4 months but the feeling is same, it is not very different after all. But yes, the location is different, the people are different, and the teams are different.
Tell us something about the show and the character.
It is a light show, and as for my character Manu, he is very innocent. I take reference and I see my father when I think of the character, and he is this sweet, innocent person. He doesn't get angry, he is always happy and he doesn't have any bad side. He feels that if he doesn't do bad, no bad will happen to him either.
At what level do you relate or feel the differences from your character?
For me, it is completely opposite. I am not like this in real life, not that simple or innocent. When I heard the story, I was wondering if I'll be able to do it and after 2-3 days into the shoot, I knew I can do it. It is challenging because I don't think normal people in their life, because everyone has become really smart.-
Other talented actors such as Hima Singh, Deepak Kumar Bandhu, and Samridhi Singh are also part of the cast line-up.
