Mita Vashisht to enter Jodha Akbar as Akbar's stepmother!

Balaji Telefilms' popular show Jodha Akbar on Zee TVis gearing up for a new entry in the show. Talented actress Mita Vashisht has been finalized for the role of Maha Chuchak who will be Akbar's (Rajat Tokas) stepmother. Mita's character will be a grey shade character.  She was last seen in Suvreen Guggal - Topper of the year on Channel V and has a long relationship with Balaji Telefilms as she was seen portraying a pivotal role in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki on Star Plus.

Mita was applauded for her role of Trisha Agrawal and now she has bagged a meaty role in the epic show Jodha Akhbar.

Our sources say, "She will be seen as Maha Chuchak who is the stepmother of Akbar. She will been as the lead antagonist in the show who has an evil eye on the Mughal reign as she wants to acquire the power completely. Thus she can go to any extent to defeat Akbar, she can even kill him for that. Thus with her entry in the show, she will create trouble in the life of Akbar."
