Milind Soman - "I was actually willing to do another role in 'Starfish' but I love the one I play too"

Actor Milind Soman continues to the flag bearer of fitness and health as we all know. But for a while now, the man has also been frequent with his choice of acting projects. After appearing in several web shows lately, the man will now be seen playing a pivotal role in the upcoming film, Starfish.

He joined the rest of the cast at a recent press conference and when asked about the film and his reason for doing, he went on to exclusively share some interesting anecdotes.

Soman said, "I actually read the book (Starfish Pickle, on which the film is adapted from) and I absolutely loved it. I found the world to be really interesting and informed the makers, who sent for me to read. Then came the script and I was drawn to it as well."

He added, "Interestingly, I wanted to play a different character in the film, which I cannot reveal now. But upon talking and further discussions, we zeroed down on the one I am playing. For me, the story was so compelling that I could've played any role and I was fine with it. I would have played Khushalii's role too if it was the case (laughs). But really, the story compelled me instantly and I am glad I am a part of Starfish."

Starfish is adapted from the book, Starfish Pickle and stars Khushali Kumar in the lead role while actors Tushar Khanna, Ehan Bhatt and Milind Soman play parallel leads. The film is directed by Akhilesh Jaiswal and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Almighty Motion Picture. It is set to release on 24rh November 2023.
