Singer Mika Singh, who is seen as a mentor on "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa", got emotional on the sets of the popular singing reality show.

Emotions flew in abundance on the Zee TV show as all the contestants and the mentors including Mika, Sajid Ali, Wajid Ali, Pritam Chakraborty along with the host Aditya Narayan received a special surprise from their loved ones.

The young singers have been living away from home for nearly three months now, gearing up for the finale. So it was time to surprise them by bringing down their parents.

While the performances were in full swing, it was the mentors' turn to express their love for their parents.

On being asked how much he misses his parents, Mika who is usually seen in great spirits all the time, went quiet and within seconds, tears flowed down his cheeks, read a statement.

Later, Sajid-Wajid were shown an audio-visual with a heartwarming message from their mother.

The video said: "My kids are my life, I love all my sons but Wajid is really close to me".

"My mother is more attached to Wajid, in fact she loves him more than any of us. While our mother is our strength, we miss our father a lot, he was our superhero, and despite being uneducated, brought us up so well that today the whole world knows us," Sajid said.
