#MeToo: Chitrangada Singh recalls her HORRIFYING experience

As the #Metoo movement gained momentum, Chitrangada Singh shared her horrendous experience behind the sets of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Chitrangada Singh. The actress recalls her traumatic experience during the shoot.

Chitrangada claimed, she was asked to wear an unbuttoned blouse and a petticoat, and lie on Nawaz with her legs spread apart. However, the actress had refused to shoot the particular scene and had to step down from the film. She also mentioned Nawaz was also present at the sets but he chose to keep mum.

During a media interaction with Elle Beauty Awards 2018 on Saturday, she said, "That was my stand to walk out of the film. I shared my reasons with a media house when they called me to talk about it.

"I believe that nobody gave importance to that matter that time. But that doesn't matter, because now media is doing an amazing job. #MeToo movement shouldn't be just about copying the West. It should be concerned about our society."

Chitrangada recalling her experience adds another story to the pool of horrific experiences the B-Town actress have already shared.
