Meri Saasu Maa to go off-air on the 26th of August

Zee TV's 'Meri Saasu Maa' is all set to bid good-bye to its loyal viewers on the 26th of August. It can be recalled that the show aired its first episode on the 26th of January this year.

The show was in the news for many wrong reasons, mainly for the link up tantrums of the lead pair Hiba Nawab and Pearl V Puri. The duo was also in the midst of rumours for unprofessionalism, arguments with co-cast members, and, also for their catfight with actress Aanchal Khurana.

According to a quote in an entertainment portal, the show was not doing well in terms of TRPs, even after the makers kept tweaking the plot constantly.

Weirdly, producer Rahul Tewary confirmed the reports to the online portal, but Saba Mumtaaz told us that they had not yet got the dates.
