Meri Ashiqui Tumse Hi Completes 1 Year!

Three cheers for the team of Balaji Telefilms' popular show Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi as the show completes a year today!

The storyline of the show which revolves around the not so smooth love story of Ranveer and Ishani successfully grabbed the eyeballs holding a good place on the charts. The show has also brought forth a lot of high points with a leap, death of characters (Phalguni played by Gauri Pradhan Tejwani), introducing new characters (Shikhar played by Arjun Bijlani) and a lot more in the period of one year. As the show completes a year today, the team is quite elated and is planning to have some sort of a celebration on the sets today.

Shakti Arora says, "I would like to thank all the fans who have been watching our show in the past one year. It's because of their love and support that our show is one among the top five shows. It's a great thing to see our show doing well even after a year and we feel happy about it. The credit also goes to all the team members who have done a great job. On this occasion, we will cut a cake today and have lots of fun on sets along with shooting. We wish that our show will keep going like this."  

"In the journey of one year, the show has given me a lot of name and fame and appreciation for the character that I am playing on the show. I have got a lot of appreciation for my acting. People recognize me wherever I go. My journey has been fabulous and it's been a joyride. It's been a great learning experience," added Shakti.

When we spoke to Radhika Madan, she said, "The show has been very special to me. I have grown a lot as an actor as well as a person. It has been an amazing journey and a roller coaster ride for me. I have had a lot of ups and downs but it has all been worth it. Yesterday we were recalling the day on our sets when we all watched the first episode of the show together on a projector. We all were feeling nostalgic about how soon time flies. The show has given me everything!  Whatever I am today, is just because of this show. I have changed a lot as a person; I have become more mature and professional."

"We will definitely cut a cake on sets today and party today. I would like to thank all the fans for loving and accepting us so gratefully. The show is continuing just because of their love and support. I am thankful to them and I love them," concludes Radhika.
