Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali actors' first meeting: Sai gave a cold reply to Shivangi’s enthusiastic greeting

Star Plus show ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’ has become audiences’ favourite. They adore Raghav and Pallavi’s chemistry and budding romance. Fans fondly call them #Raghvi (culmination of Raghav and Pallavi). The show is produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Sikand Films. The current track of the show revolves around the big truth about Pallavi’s husband Mandar’s death being revealed. 

While the fans are always intrigued about the developments in the show, they also remain keen on finding the bond of their favourite actors off-screen. Well, we have a little trivia from the lead actors Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar’s first meeting.

Speaking exclusively about her first encounter with co-actor Sai Ketan Rao, Shivangi said, “This was supposed to be my first daily soap and I wanted to make sure that I have a good rapport with all the actors. Considering the long working hours required for a TV show, I was certain that with a good vibe on the set with co-stars becoming friends, the shoots would be less hectic. Keeping the thought in mind, I said an enthusiastic ‘Hello’ to Sai on our first meeting and to my surprise he gave a cold reply saying a ‘Hi’ and started talking to someone else. I felt weird and thought that he was rude to me but I’m a very positive person so I started to reason with his behavior. Initially, I thought that he is being in his character so it will only be helpful for the show that we have such a focused actor. Secondly, I thought to myself that maybe like me, Sai is also an introvert so we will be on the same page and can eventually become good friends”.

She further added, “However, after shooting for so long, now I can say that we both have gelled along well and have become friends. We share a lot of things with each other. Telugu industry is one of the common links between us, so we keep discussing things in Hyderabad and all. We both are foodies too so food becomes another bonding factor for us. So, yes, it’s fun working with him”.
