Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali's Shivangi Khedkar: TRPs are not a bad thing because you get to know the response
Shivangi Khedkar aka Pallavi, spoke to India Forums about her point of view regarding TRPs and mentioned how they work towards it, but only to improve the story and not as a competition.

Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali on Star Plus, has been one of the much-appreciated shows and continues to garner a lot of love from the audience. While the show enjoys a strong online presence, it continues to climb up and sore higher in terms of numbers. Shivangi Khedkar aka Pallavi, spoke to India Forums about her point of view regarding TRPs and mentioned how they work towards it, but only to improve the story and not as a competition.
Says Shivangi, ''Since I am new, I am not much of a person about TRPs being a certain way, but let's face it, it is a TV show, and the channel, the producers, do want TRP numbers. We do have this thing in our head that we need good numbers but not as a competition. We look at it as maybe what we did in the last episode, last week and people are not liking it that much and they are changing the channel, so we need to buckle up.''
She added, ''More than the competition, it is like we need to improve the story, acting, and execution. My concentration is on how well and better do I serve people. TRPs are not a bad thing because you get to know the response and when people are changing the channel, but if you don't want that, you, of course, work hard and we are trying our best.''

She's being humble about it but its not about acting or story. The TRP audience loves toxic content. Also, the calculation methodology is outdated and senseless and its not even close to all encompassing. Anyway, Shivangi is amazing! Her crying scenes are real but I love her the most when she's laughing.

No wonder Shivangi Khedkar's acting today was so heart touching...Pallavi's emotions could be felt. Sai Ketan Rao as Raghav has equally supported that scene of MHRW...applauds to the actor and I hope TRP increases too

Its a lovely show - got elements of everything - humour, action, suspense, romance, drama, etc. Shivangi speaks so well and very mature in her outlook.

This show has a very good storyline and is dealt in a proper realistic way. The chemistry between Sai and Shivangi is just mind blowing.. they truly deserve all the TRP. But TRP is certainly not being calculated correctly, there is lot of online and overseas viewership which is not included in the rating.. also, if you want starplus, hotstar, and even Indian culture and shows to become global, then overseas and online viewership should also be added to TRP

That was such a positive and much needed perspective...Shivangi Khedkar rocks as Pallavi ... Everyday we see her growth.. Hopefully will be able to see more shades of Pallavi in the future...
