Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali's Rutuja Sawant: Shivangi Khedkar is indeed my partner in crime off-screen

Rutuja Sawant made her debut in the television industry with the show Mehendi Hai Rachne Waali. She is playing the character of Mansi in the show. Talking about her role she says, "I am playing the character of Mansi in the show. In the start, Mansi was a very positive character but with the twist of the events happening around, she has turned negative. Mansi is now planning and plotting to make trouble for Pallavi and Raghav."

Further talking about the equations with her costars, she says, "I am enjoying every day on sets. Shivangi Khedkar, who is my enemy in the current track, is indeed my partner in crime off-screen. We are like best of friends. Further, it's amazing to work with senior co-actors like Ajinkya Joshi sir, who is playing my on-screen father, I get to learn a lot from him and his experience."

Lastly, on being asked about her inspiration of becoming an actor, Rutuja says, "There are many people who inspired me because earlier I thought to become an actor you need to have a perfect body and face but now it is if you see that there are many actors who are killing and. They are going above the preexisting conditions like Nawaz and Richa Chadda. They have taught me that if you are good at your craft nothing can stop you."
