Megha Gupta on finding love again after two failed marriages

Actor Megha Gupta has witnessed quite a roller-coaster of a life indeed when it comes to her professional as well as personal front. While on the professional front, Gupta has been very selective about the acting projects she takes up and was seen in a TV show last in Ayushman Bhava back in 2017. And coming to her personal life, Gupta got a divorce from actor Siddhant Karnick over two years ago.

But lately, the actor has chosen a different path altogether and currently resides in Goa where she has become a biohacker. Explaining the term and her life to ETimes TV, Gupta said, “A biohacker is someone, who performs experiments on their own bodies with the hope of boosting their physical and immunity system. I want to be known as the best biohacker in India."

Talking about her life in Goa, she said, “Our life in Mumbai was 90 per cent waiting for good roles and 10 per cent shooting on the sets. All that is over now. I am not saying there was any dearth of good opportunities, but life in Mumbai with all the traffic, partying, loud noise et al is all over for me – I am happy being at home and being by myself. My family is not with me and I miss them, but Goa is a great city to live in.”

And apart from her divorce from Karnick, she had another failed marriage over a decade ago. So when asked if she is ready to find love again, she said, “I would love to find someone, whose ideas match with mine. Our wavelengths should match. Having said that, I have a great set of friends here, so I am not missing any company. I am happy doing my work every day and winding up by evening. I sleep by 9pm because I wake up early. Life is cool and peaceful here.”
