Megha Barsenge: Neil Bhatt talks leap and Shooting in Nainital

The popular Colors TV show Megha Barsenge recently took a major 7-year leap, bringing in fresh twists and more intense drama. Actor Neil Bhatt, who plays the lead role of Arjun Talwar, is winning hearts with his powerful and versatile performance.

Post-leap, Neil’s character Arjun has taken a surprising turn. To protect Megha and her daughter Manu, Arjun disguises himself as an elderly woman, Dadi. This unexpected twist has brought both emotional and comic elements to the show.

In an exclusive chat with India Forums, Neil Bhatt shared his excitement about the leap and his character. He said, “The show has a lot of drama, and I’m looking forward to how things unfold. Playing Arjun Talwar has been very interesting. During the Bandipur track, I got to play a local goon named Jishnu, which was a unique experience. Now, I’ve taken on a completely different look by cross-dressing as Dadi Maasi. It brings intense scenes and comic relief, and I’m truly enjoying this phase.”

Neil also opened up about how much fun it has been to shoot in Nainital. “Nainital is beautiful. We’ve all seen pictures and videos of it, but being here in person is something else. The weather has been cold and rainy lately, with a lot of fog, but it’s added to the charm of shooting. It’s a great atmosphere to work in.”

Talking about the team, Neil added, “Our entire cast and crew have bonded well. We’ve become like one big family. The energy on set is amazing. The script is also engaging, and we’re all having a blast shooting these new scenes.”
