Nischay kept his relationship a secret for a long time, even from his family, leaving his brother, YouTuber Abhishek Malhan, astonished by the engagement announcement. Speaking to News18, Abhishek said, When Nischay told me that he wants to get engaged, I was like, ‘Bhai, when did you fall in love?’ I did not know about it. He hid it (his relationship) from us also for a long time. But when we got to know, I was like, ‘bro wow, I’m loving it’.

On June 10, Nischay and Ruchika exchanged vows in an intimate and joyful ceremony at ITC Hotels, Tavleen, Chail, set in the tranquil hills of Himachal Pradesh. They posted their first wedding photos on Instagram with the sweet caption: "Forever ??." The first image featured the newlyweds in traditional outfits, holding hands and smiling. Ruchika was radiant in a detailed red lehenga with gold embroidery, heavy kundan jewelry, and a maang tikka, while Nischay looked elegant in an ivory sherwani with pearl detailing and a matching turban.
