A close source from the set inform us that in a dramatic turn of events, while Vanraj and Anuj are engrossed in conversation, a man named 'Sonu' will suddenly burst into the house, brandishing a gun and making a frantic attempt on Anuj's life. Swiftly reacting to the imminent danger, Samar steps in heroically to protect Anuj. Tragically, amidst this brave act, Samar ends up sacrificing his own life as he is fatally shot.

Samar has been one of the most adored characters in the show, initially the role was played by Paras Kalnawat and later Sagar Parekh took over Paras and made an exit midway.
