Mausam in controversy

Yet again, another film jumps the controversy bandwagon before its release. This time, Shahid Kapoor's upcoming film, Mausam is doing the rounds.

 

As probably already acknowledged with the amount of curiosity this film had garnered, Mausam is to be directed by Shahid's father, Pankaj Kapoor and co

 

Due to keeping the film's script strictly under wraps, you would think that it's too early for the film to be connected to controversies. Think again!

 

The problem comes in the form of Pankaj Kapoor's old friend, Nawman Malik. Malik claims that a few years ago, he had narrated his script of Mausam to Pankaj and wished to cast Shahid in the film. While then the response that he gained from father Kapoor was that he would have to discuss the matter with Shahid, the meeting never materialized. 

 

Now Malik is concerned that Mausam might be the same film that he narrated years back. Along with the title, he fears that that story might even be the same. As of now, Malik has filed a complaint with the Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programme Producers.
