Two well drafted sitcoms were shown the door suddenly on the channel's request...

It had just been a couple of months that two fictions, Gajab Family and Mujhe Meri Family Se Bachao were launched with a big boom on Masti channel.
Uncertainty followed and now the shows have succumbed to a rushed ending. Inspite of roping in well known performers like Delnaaz Paul , Rupali Ganguly (Fame Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai) and Nitesh Pandey (Fame Jaankhilavan Jasoos) , the show apparently didn't succeed in gaining high ratings which was a major reason for their failure.
A source states, "The shows were abruptly brought to an end without any notice from the production. The actors were also informed about the cancellation of shoots, 3 hours after their pack up and this way the shows came to an end."
The buzz traveling around also suggested that a few more shows were to go up on the channel provided the concept of sitcoms worked on a channel like Masti, but due to the defeat of these two shows, the channel decided to put a break on their ventures of bringing in more sitcoms.
Rupali Ganguly confirmed the buzz whereas Delnaaz Paul seemed a tad busy to comment on the same.
We wish this short journey of both the shows was successful enough to start a new trend of pure sitcoms in the television industry…
