Manoj Verma to play Jaffer in Somersault's new show 'Khauff'

As reported earlier, the makers of Zee TV' Fear Files Season 1 & 2, Somersault Production, is gearing up with its new show called Khauff on Life OK, which is supposed to be based on paranormal activities and special investigative journalism.

Since the show will be hitting the floors very soon, the casting of the show is observing an accelerating progress. Sameer Soni, who was last seen in an intense character on Colors show Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka, will be playing the main lead.

With the recent development in the star cast, our reliable source told us, actor Manoj Verma has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the show. 

Furthermore, our source went on to say, "Manoj Verma will portray a very strong character named Jaffer and his looks will be slightly inspired from Hollywood actor Johnny Depp. Jaffer will be seen associated with an agency that investigates and solves unusual paranormal cases in a much scientific way. He will be like a God father of the entire group."

On being contacted, Manoj confirmed the news to TellyBuzz, "Yes, I am doing the show and I am playing a very interesting role. Actually, I'm very choosy about my work and I have always taken up roles that are character driven. As of now, I just know that in this particular show 'Khauff', my character is named Jaffer, who will be seen in a modern Sufiana avatar."

Manoj Verma has been associated with theater from past 26 years. No just that, Manoj has also made his presence felt in the past in popular shows like Swabhimaan and Crime Patrol.
