Malayalam actress Manju Warrier recently got stuck in Himachal Pradesh due to floods along with the director and crew of her upcoming film. The entire team was heading to Manali for the shooting of the film, titled Kayyatam, directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan.
Unfortunately, the 30 members crew was stuck in the hills due to heavy floods, with no access to the Internet or calls. In an interview, Manju's brother Madhu had revealed that the actress made a 15 seconds SOS call for food help.
Luckily, the good news has just come in that the whole crew has been rescued to a safe place.
After being stranded for six days in Sheagoru and Chhatru in Himachal Pradesh, Manju informed her fans that she has safely reached Manali. She took to her Instagram, and wrote, "Very happy and relieved to inform all of you that me and the entire team of the movie "Kayattam" by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan reached back safe by midnight in Manali and are completely safe now after being stranded for six days in the regions of Sheagoru and Chhatru in Himachal Pradesh due to snowfall and landslides. Thanks to all the big hearts who swiftly and responsibly executed the rescue operations. And thanks to the care, concern, love, and prayers from each one of you. I was shocked to hear about the floods in Kerala. I hope we all stay together in this like last year. #sanalkumarsasidharan #kayattam."
Well, this is definitely a sign of relief!
Meanwhile, on the work front, Manju Warrier has some huge films in her kitty, besides Kayaatam, including Priyadarshan’s Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham and Santosh Sivan’s Jack n Jill in Malayalam.
