Manisha Rani, the dynamic wildcard contestant of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, has emerged victorious in a remarkable triumph that defied all expectations. In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, Manisha shares her exhilarating journey from wildcard entry to ultimate champion, reflecting on the challenges she encountered and the sheer determination that propelled her to success.

Speaking to us about the same, the actress said, “I think when you show the audience what has not been seen in a short span of time, they are bound to like it. Not that the other contestants were not showing it, but it all depends on the liking of the audience too. Everyone danced really well. But with us, we’d try to do different dance forms every week. And to learn a different dance form normally takes months, but here we did not have that kind of time. We’d have to prepare an act in a few days time. I think the audience too gets it that these guys have been attempting to do something different all the time.

Further the actress says, “ I do not think that a wild card contestant is not deserving just because they’re not a part of the show since the beginning. I believe that a wild card has more pressure. Because when you’re a part of the show from beginning, the first two weeks people also take you easy that this person is learning. But as a wild card contestant you do not get that kind of liberty. You have to be prepared. So since the time we have been a part of the show, we have worked very hard thinking that we have less time, we will learn and perform different dance forms, work very hard and lift the trophy too. Congrats to Manisha but it's a bit sad for contestants from the start
