Maninee De in Sahara One's Kesariya Balam...

Maninee De Mishra who essays the role of the bratty Sunaina in SAB TV's Maniben.com will now be seen in a new avatar in Ajay Sinha's upcoming show on Sahara One, Kesariya Balam Padharo Mare Des, which was earlier titled Agnisakshi.

Maninee will don a stunning look, an avatar that she has never donned before on television. "This is one of my dream roles, and I don't believe that it's me when I look into the mirror (smiles). Working with Ajayji and Sangeetaji is a pleasure, and it seems as though this role was waiting in the wings just for me. I get a lot of literary pleasure in working with them", says the actress.

Elaborating on her role, Maninee states, "My role is etched on the lines of Meena Kumari's in the movie Sahib Biwi aur Gulam. I play a typical Rajput woman who is suppressed by her husband. She has a strained relationship with her husband, but remains silent and bears the brunt in order to save her family's pride".

Mahesh Shetty who is presently seen in Sony's Pyaar Ka Bandhan will be seen playing Maninee's husband. As reported earlier, Akshat Gupta who was last seen in Palampur Express will play the main lead. Jaya Binju who was earlier in Jassuben Jayantilal Joshi Ki Joint Family and Baa Bahu aur Baby will play the female lead. Toral Rasputra who was in Zee Next's Yahaan Ke Hum Sikandar will play the parallel lead in the show.

According to our source, "The show will also see the veteran actor Tej Saproo essaying an important role. Kesariya Balam… is expected to launch on 16th November, and might take the 9.30 PM slot. However, the channel has not decided on this yet".

Producer Ajay Sinha told us, "Our show will most likely launch on 16th November, but we are not sure with the time slot. The cast includes Akshat Gupta, Jaya Binju, Toral Rasputra, Maninee De, Mahesh Shetty and many others".
