Mandana Karimi Shares that shooting Intimate scenes will change post Covid-19!

Actress Mandana Karimi will soon be seen in the upcoming ZEE5 web series ‘The Casino’. The Actress in a recent interview with IANS shared that post covid-19, the projection of intimate scenes on screen and the shooting of such scenes is going to change. She also added that we know the new rules and social distancing is going to be a part of our culture. The Actress also believes that even if we get the assurance that all is safe, it is still going to stay in our minds for long. 

However, being an Iranian, Mandana revealed that she has seen many Iranian films where intimacy in a relationship has been shown without any skin showing. She states that as an artist and as a storyteller, we always find ways to tell a story and show things that we would like to show. The Actress believes that in coming times, we will all find our way to project intimacy on screen while following social distancing. 

Talking about her character in the show ‘The Casino’, Mandana shared that it is quite interesting as it is not a dark or a pure character, it has grey shades to it. She also mentioned that she has never had such a body of work in the past and she is thankful to the director, Hardik Gajjar for trusting her. The series releases on ZEE5 on June 12th.
