Mallika Sherawat's snake woman film is now 'Hisss'

New Delhi, Oct 3 (IANS) Mallika Sherawat starrer fictional-fantasy 'Naagin - The Snake Woman', the first Hindi film to be directed by a Hollywood director, has now been renamed 'Hissss'.

Jennifer Lynch, daughter of four-time Oscar nominee David Lynch, is directing it. Her last film 'Surveillance', starring Bill Pullman and Julia Ormand, was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year.

Produced by Vikram Singh and Govind Menon of Split Image Pictures, 'Hissss' is about the vengeance of a snake woman. It also stars Irrfan Khan as a cop.

Hollywood's special effects wizard Robert Kurtzman, who worked with the likes of Quentine Tarantiono and Robert Rodriquez, has been roped in to create the graphics for the film. Renowned cinematographer Madhu Ambat and Hollywood sound effects specialist Patrick Girardi are also part of the project.
