Maleeka R Ghai bags another show!

Talented actress Maleeka R Ghai, who was last seen in popular shows like Saraswatichandra, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi and currently seen in Dharmshetra on The Epic Channel is all set to be seen on another show soon.

Recently we reported about Maleeka R Ghai shooting for DD National's upcoming show Parineeta and now we came to know that the actress has bagged another show for DD Metro.

Our source informs us, "Maleeka will soon be seen on DD Metro's upcoming show Jagte Raho (Produced by Veb Media) where she will play the mother of a mentally challenged kid. The show will be taking up all the sensitive issues prevalent in our country and the story featuring Maleeka will revolve around the story of a mother who has to take care of her mentally challenged child and her husband who has abandoned her because of the child. She then gets counseling sessions for herself and her kid through an NGO."

When contacted Maleeka, she confirmed the news saying, "It's a very interesting story with a good social message. I will play the mother of a mentally challenged kid and I have understood that how difficult it would have been for a mother to raise her child who is challenged."
