Malaika Arora shares her biggest challenges upon Testing Positive for COVID-19

Malaika Arora recently contracted Coronavirus and she immediately paused her work. The is a judge on a dance reality show - India’s Best Dancer and the shoot was instantly halted. The actress in her Instagram post informed the fans of her health sharing she is asymptomatic and under home quarantine.

Malaika recently completed her 14-day isolation period and like others, she also went through a difficult time during her quarantine. Missing her dear son Arhaan Khan, the actress had recently posted a picture of him with their dog Casper who she sees from across the balcony.

Talking about her latest setback, Malaika opened up about the biggest challenges she faced while on her road to recovery in her interview with Mid-day. The Chaiyya Chaiyya actress said her biggest recovery was to stay away from her son Arhaan Khan and pooch Casper. 

During her interview, she said, “The biggest challenge was not being able to meet my son. We spoke to each other from our balconies.”

Malla also revealed after some of India’s Best Dancer staff members tested positive she decided to get herself tested too which unfortunately came positive.

She told Mid-day, “Luckily, my family had not contracted the virus. I was shocked when I tested positive because I had not shown any major symptoms or experienced discomfort. I was advised to self-quarantine at home. I made sure that I didn't step out of my room, and didn't come in contact with anyone, including my son [Arhaan], the house staff, and our dog Casper.”

In a statement shared on her Instagram handle, Malaika had previously informed, "Today I have tested positive for coronavirus but I want to inform you all that I am feeling fine. I am asymptomatic and following all the required protocols and will be quarantined at home as instructed by my doctor and authorities. I request all of you to stay calm and safe. Thank you for all your support
