Mahua channel to turn multi-lingual

Tellybuzz had earlier reported about Mahua channel coming up with its Gujarati channel named Mahua Gujarati. But the latest we hear is that Mahua is planning an expansion and is launching channels in various regional languages.

A source from the industry informs, "Mahua is planning to come up with channels with various languages like Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marvadi just like other national channels like Zee TV and Star Plus. Mahua is  working towards its development in order to be a brand like other channels."

"Renowned producers from various industries are pitching for various regional shows on Mahua", adds source.

We contacted Bhupendra Singh, Head of Mahua Hindi and he said, "I can't comment on it at the moment."

Seems like the competition in the industry is boosting up...
