Mahima Makwana Opens up on Actor's Paycuts; shares that she clearly Refused 40% paycut!

The current situation of the Coronavirus Pandemic has affected many industries including the entertainment industry. After months of halt in shoots, the Television industry is soon expected to start their shooting while taking certain precautions. Actress Mahima Makwana who is currently seen in the show Shubharambh reveals to a leading portal that they haven't received the date but they definitely got a call about shoots starting anytime soon. 

Mahima spoke to Spotboye.com where she opened up on Actor's paycuts. She mentioned that they have asked for a 25% paycut which was 40% until last month. However, at that time, the Actress clearly told them no as 40% was too much. She added that she could have lost her job but she didn't agree to it. The Actress stated that if they are considering taking paycuts then the makers should also make provisions for releasing artistes' payments as soon as possible. 

She also revealed that she received a message from CINTAA which stated that they should not agree to any call for shootings or budget cuts from anyone till they do not receive an official message from them. The Actress believes that if the federation is working for them then they should too wait and support them.
