Mahadev actor roped in for Colors' next!

Actor Tarun Khanna, last seen in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, was highly appreciated for his portrayal of Ravan in the show. The actor is now all set to play a completely different character from his previous show.

The actor has been roped in for the role of Shiva in Colors' next mythological offering, Shani. The show revolves around how Shani Dev came into existence and why is he the way he is today.

A source close to the project revealed, "Shani's is a less explored story. There is a back story to how Shani Dev came into existence and what his relation was with Lord Shiva. It is said that Lord Shiva had a huge influence on Shani Dev. Shani Dev was made by Lord Shiva but then a few differences separated them."

Armed with the above information, we buzzed Tarun who confirmed that he is a part of the show, but refused to divulge the details of the track.
