Madhura Naik, the new entry in Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai

Star Plus’ prime time show Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai of Rajan Shahi has surely kept the viewers glued to the serial with its gripping story line and timely twists. As Sadhana (Sara Khan) is expectant that she will finally be able to get her sister Ragini (Parul Chauhan) married to Ranveer played by Kinshuk Mahajan, the viewers witnessed yet another surprise in the form of Ranveer’s girlfriend, Sonia.

The role of Sonia is played by Madhura Naik who was earlier seen in Balaji Telefilms’ serials, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kahe Naa Kahe. The very bubbly actress was recently seen as Tina in Star Plus’ Kumkum Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan too.

Talking about her role in Bidaai, Madhura states, “Sonia is a modern young girl born and brought up in USA. She accompanies her beau Ranveer to attend the reception of Alekh and Sadhana. Sonia, being her cheerful self will try her best to adjust and mingle with everyone in the Rajvansh family. But as the story proceeds, there will be different shades to the character”.

When asked about the duration of her role, the actress quips, “Mine is a very important and long-running role. You need to see the way in which my character develops. I cannot reveal much now, but all I can say is that the viewers will be in for a shock as the story unwinds”.

Madhura who was also seen wooing Sumit aka Hussein Kuwajerwala in few episodes of Kumkum Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan is slated to get back to the serial very soon. “Yes, I will be getting back to Kumkum in a while. I could not give them dates earlier as I was busy with Bidaai. My character, Tina will slowly turn negative”, states Madhura as she signs off.
