Star Plus' show Maati Se Bandhi Dor is all set to go off-air. The show, which features Rutuja Bagwe as Vaiju and Ankit Gupta as Rannvijay, has failed to maintain its TRP ratings, leading to its early closure. As per reports, the show will end by the last week of February 2025.

This is not the first time rumors about the show’s closure have surfaced. Earlier, there was speculation that Maati Se Bandhi Dor might go off air, but it continued to run. However, this time, the makers have received an ultimatum from the channel, and the final decision has been made. The show's journey will conclude this month, marking an end to Vaiju and Rannvijay’s story.

When the show first premiered, it received a good response from the audience. Viewers appreciated its unique concept and the chemistry between Vaiju, Jaya, and Rannvijay. However, as the story progressed, major twists, including Jaya and Rannvijay’s marriage alongside Vaiju’s love story, failed to connect with the audience. Many found it unrealistic, which led to a significant drop in TRP. Even the track of Vaiju and Rannvijay’s wedding created some buzz, but it wasn't enough to save the show from declining viewership.

Despite the makers introducing several twists, the show couldn’t meet expectations in terms of TRP growth. Reports suggest that the final episode of Maati Se Bandhi Dor will air at the end of February 2025, marking the end of its journey.

The show was set in Bhumipur, Maharashtra, and revolved around Vaiju, a hardworking woman striving to improve her family's life. But fate had other plans for her. Unfortunately, the show couldn’t sustain itself despite the strong performances by the lead actors.
