Maanvi Gagroo Talks 'Half Love Half Arranged' Season 2, Her Favorite Moments, and Behind-the-Scenes Insights

In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, Maanvi Gagroo opens up about the much-awaited second season of Half Love Half Arranged. From her favorite moments on set to the differences between the two seasons, Maanvi shares insights into her character and the exciting journey that awaits viewers.

How do you feel about the stress in your life?

I have no stress. You know, I don’t take anyone's stress. I give them stress instead. That’s another difference.

How do you feel about the reception of Season 2?

I think Season 2 is better than Season 1. Season 1 was loved because people didn’t know what to expect. There was a lot of humor, fun, and attachment. But for Season 2, I feel people are getting more emotionally invested in the characters and their stories. Many girls have approached me saying that my story is like theirs. It’s very nice to see that connection.

How did the audience react after the second season?

Season 1 set high expectations, and people were very happy with it. But with Season 2, the audience seems even more emotionally involved. They are reacting more seriously this time. It’s great to see people connecting on a deeper level.

Did you feel any pressure before the second season aired?

Yes, there is always pressure with a second season because the first one did well. You need to make it better than the first one, or at least the same. If you try something new, there’s always a risk that the audience might not like it. It's a balancing act, and the makers have to be very careful about this.

How did the makers approach the second season?

The makers have done a fab job with Season 2. Season 1 focused on establishing the characters and the world. In Season 2, we dive deeper into the characters' lives, and we also introduced a new character. It's been great to see the evolution.

What’s your preference between OTT and movies?

I prefer OTT now because of its flexibility. You can pause, rewind, or skip parts. It’s easier, especially when watching at home. You can even take breaks whenever you want. I find it more convenient than watching movies in theaters, where you can’t do that.

How do you feel about the growing connection between audiences and OTT content?

People watch OTT content on their phones, which makes them feel closer to the content. It feels like they are part of our lives. When they meet me, they feel like we’re friends, which is amazing. It creates a much stronger bond than films, where people often look up to the actors from a distance.

Do you feel like you are relatable to the audience in a different way through OTT?

Yes, in OTT, people feel very connected and evolved with us. It feels like they are living our stories with us. It’s not just a larger-than-life experience like movies. It’s much more personal and real.
