Maanvi Gagroo 'Fat-Shamed' by an Apparel Brand with a tagline that read 'Styles to Hide Your Curves'!

Actresses are usually targeted with distasteful comments and captions by using their photos. Previously, Sonakshi Sinha was fat-shamed by a model who referred to her as a cow on the ramp. However, nothing seems to have changed in the industry as this time it was actress Maanvi Gagroo who suffered the same problem as an apparel brand Fat-Shamed her with a distasteful tagline. 

Maanvi took to her Twitter handle to call out an apparel brand that used her picture to promote the idea of 'hiding your curves'. 

While the actress in the picture was wearing their brand, they didn't have her permission to use it as a sponsored post. Also, she's against the idea of fat-shaming and does not approve of their tagline that reads 'Styles to Hide Your Curves'.

"I didn't wear this dress to 'hide my curves'. Not only does the brand NOT have my permission to use my picture as a sponsored post, they definitely don't have my permission to fat shame ANYONE! I stand against everything this distasteful tagline points to," Maanvi tweeted while sharing a picture of the brand and their tagline.

On the work front, Maanvi has worked hard to create a space for herself in the industry and she has repeatedly accepted roles that don't demand them to shed their weight. Several actresses like Maanvi are certainly striving hard to voice their displeasure against anyone who tries to fat shame a person.
